How does Lume identify wine from a photo?
Photograph the front label. Lume reads the visible information and consults sources to identify the wine. When it cannot confirm a detail, it makes that uncertainty clear rather than presenting it as a fact.
What can I learn about a bottle?
Lume shows the producer, grapes, region and vintage when they can be confirmed. It also explains the taste profile, including sweetness, body, acidity and tannins, and suggests food pairings and how to serve it.
Do I need to know about wine to use Lume?
No. Lume explains wine in plain language so you can explore bottles at a restaurant, in a shop or at home. It helps you discover your own taste.
